Indiana basketball transfer guards Tayton Conerway (Troy) and Lamar Wilkerson (Sam Houston State) started their career as junior college players.

Before winning Sun Belt Player of the Year honors, Conerway was a JUCO All-American at Ranger College.

Wilkerson, who was one of the country's top 3-point shooters last season, got his first break at Three Rivers College in Missouri.
