Burlington is set to open more than 50 stores in 24 U.S. states and Puerto Rico in October and November, with the company saying the openings are part of a continued expansion to the more than 1,000 already open locations.

In a statement to USA TODAY, Burlington Stores CEO Michael O’Sullivan said the store openings will feature the company’s new layout.

“We’re thrilled to continue growing Burlington’s presence nationwide and in Puerto Rico. Our new and refreshed fleet of stores provides customers with an improved shopping experience and amazing deals every day, ” O’Sullivan said. “Today’s Burlington is focused on delivering the value, styles, and brands our customers love in stores that are neat, clean and exciting to shop.”

Burlington says the new stores will feature a “smaller, more efficient design,” with most remaining locations set to be converted by the end of 2026.
