October might be the most fun month of the entire year.

The weather here in the Fayetteville area is moderate at this time of year — perfect for enjoying an outdoor activity like a corn maze, hayride or a hike in a state or county park.

But the real draw this month is Halloween. Sure, it's only one day, but you wouldn't know it from the number of local events slated for spooky season.
