The Blue Jays ’ season isn’t over yet, but the votes are in.

As has become an annual tradition over the past quarter-century or so, I went through the Jays’ clubhouse before the end of the regular season and got each member of the team and coaching staff — and a lot of the support staff — to cast their votes in four categories to honour the best players on the 2025 club.

Everyone takes the task seriously, with some people, like Max Scherzer , agonizing over their decisions. Scherzer wanted to divide his MVP vote five ways at one point, but ultimately narrowed it down. Vote-splitting was allowed, which is why there are a couple of half-votes in the totals. All votes were anonymous. Players were allowed to vote for themselves, but nobody did. A total of 53 votes were cast.
