SRINAGAR : An accident in Budgam district on Thursday claimed the life of a 68-year-old man after he suffered a fall from an under-construction mosque in the Shippra Magam area of central Kashmir. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Yousuf Sofi, aged 68, a local of the area. According to initial accounts, Sofi was engaged at the construction site of a mosque in Shippra Magam when he suddenly slipped and fell from a height. The incident sparked panic among locals who immediately rushed to help.

He was shifted in critical condition to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for urgent treatment. However, despite doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission.
