The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox square off in a winner-take-all Game 3 of the American League wild card series on Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

Boston won the opener in the Bronx, but the Yankees bounced back in Game 2 on Wednesday to squeeze out a late win and force the best-of-three series to the decisive game that begins at 8 p.m. ET. The Red Sox have won the last three playoff series between the AL East rivals, dating back to 2004.

The pitching matchup features two rookies with Cam Schlitter starting for the Yankees and Connelly Early going for the Red Sox.
