A big name cafe and bakery chain has shut their branch in Leeds city centre.

As we’ve previously reported , Cinnabon, the American bakery chain famous for its decadent cinnamon rolls, has closed all 12 of its UK stores. This has left an absence in Leeds city centre .

The Commercial Street premises, formerly home to Cinnabon in Leeds, now stands empty. A sign on the unit reads ‘shop to let’. Cinnabon opened in Commercial Street back in 2023 .

EG On the Move, the franchise partner that collaborated with Cinnabon to create its UK operation, has confirmed it took the ‘strategic decision’ to close all sites.
