Pakistan continues to grapple with rising terrorist activities, experiencing a 46% surge in violence during the third quarter of 2025, according to a recent media report. The province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains the most affected region amidst growing terror threats.

The country recorded at least 901 fatalities and 599 injuries, involving civilians, security personnel, and terrorists across 329 violent incidents. These ranged from terror attacks to counter-terror operations, The News reported, citing data from the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS).
