India U19 cricket team stormed to an innings win against Australia 19 on the third day of their first Youth Test at the Ian Healy Oval in Brisbane. Resuming on their overnight score of 8/1, Australia were bowled out for 127 on the third day with India winning by an innings and 58 runs.

The margin of victory is the biggest any U19 team has recorded in Australia in the history of Youth Test. The previous best was by Australia when they brushed aside their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand by an innings and 54 runs in Adelaide in 1989.

The overall record is also held by India. In September 2006, a Piyush Chawla-led India, featuring the likes of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma thrashed Pakistan by an innings and 240 runs in Peshawar.
