Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Thursday launched a march in Malkangiri on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, calling upon people to follow the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.

Led by OPCC president Bhakta Charan Das, the two-day programme is christened ‘Gandhi Pathe Odisha.’ Launched on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the symbol of truth and non-violence, the rally was organised for the sake of Odisha’s self and justice, a senior party leader said. ADVERTISEMENT Apart from party workers and leaders, members from the general public also joined the foot march for the protection of the state and for the respect and justice of women to raise their voice in a non-violent manner.
