BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Good morning!

Today: High pressure is building in behind a trough along the east coast, and that will keep us mainly dry. While there’s a very slim chance of a stray shower across our far southern counties, the dry air should win out.

Afternoon highs will likely top out near 84, with some of our far eastern areas possibly holding in the upper 70s. It should be a great day to check out the food scene at the Greek Food Festival in downtown Birmingham.

The Next 24 Hours: Clear skies and dry air tonight should allow temperatures to fall into the mid-to-upper 50s in most locations tomorrow morning, so you may need a light jacket, with near 60 farther south.
