At the close of play, India stood at 121/2, trailing by 41 runs. Siraj (4/40) and Bumrah (3/32) spearheaded India’s commanding performance, despite a brief rain interruption.
Rahul, who hit the first fifty of the series, remained unbeaten on 53 from 114 balls, including six fours, while India captain Shubman Gill was at the crease on 18 from 42 balls with one boundary.
India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) after a solid 68-run opening partnership with Rahul, and B Sai Sudharsan (7) soon followed. Nevertheless, the hosts appeared largely untroubled on the firs
