The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday issued a fresh weather forecast, predicting a wet spell across Jammu and Kashmir between October 5 and 7, with the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in parts of Jammu division and moderate to heavy rainfall in Kashmir division.

As per the forecast, the weather will remain generally dry till October 4 afternoon, followed by light to moderate rain, thunder and gusty winds in the evening or night.

Between October 5 and 7, most places in J&K are likely to experience intermittent light to moderate rain/thundershowers, with light to moderate snowfall over higher reaches.
