One of the Garden District's most famous historic mansions earned a profile in Vogue Australia after a major interior renovation that aimed to complement the classic architecture of the New Orleans home.
The cornstalk fence house, also known as Col. Short's Villa, dates back to the Antebellum era. Designed by Henry Howard, the home was built by Col. Robert H. Short on a tract that was split from the Livaudais Plantation in 1832.
