A move to the West Coast Eagles is imminent for Brandon Starcevich after Lions coach Chris Fagan farewelled the star defender at the club's best and fairest night.
The future of Starcevich at the Lions has been under a cloud in recent weeks as he weighed up whether he would stay put in Brisbane or move on to don new colours.
Now a free agent, it was believed by many that the 26-year-old had set his sights on returning back home to Perth, despite links with North Melbourne and Essendon. Advertisement
Fagan has now confirmed that deal could be on track to be completed.
"Callum Ah Chee and Brandon Starcevich will be taking their option to move on to other clubs for next year," the back-to-back premiership winning coach said.
