According to officials, police set up checkpoints at Wussan and Chichlora crossings in Baramulla following credible inputs. At Wussan, a Wagon-R vehicle (registration number DL6CL-4065) was intercepted with three persons onboard. A search led to the recovery of 19 grams of heroin-like substance. The accused were identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Magray, son of Bashir Ahmad Magray, Furkaan Ahmad Lone, son of Manzoor Ahmad Lone, and Danish Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Shamim Lone, all residents of Merchipora Tangmarg.
