The Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians meet in a do-or-die game on Thursday afternoon, with the two rivals meeting in Game 3 of the American League Wild Card Series.

After a game that went down to the wire on Tuesday, it looked like Game 2 was going to be another tooth-and-nails contest that was going to be decided by a single run. However, that changed in the bottom of the eighth, when the Guardians used a couple of home runs to put five runs on the board, sending the series the distance with a 6-1 win.
