A joke at the end of a University of Delaware student-produced comedy show has drawn the ire of Delaware's Republican Party.

According to a social media post from Delaware GOP Executive Director Nick Miles, Delaware's Student Television Network's "The Bi-Weekly Show" offered a list of "Special Thanks", including CHATP GPT (sic), VIOLENCE, and CHARLIE KIRK'S KILLER at the end of its second episode of this school year.

The episode of the show patterned after "Saturday Night Live" was posted to social media on September 22, 12 days after the shooting death of conservative podcaster and advocate Charlie Kirk, who has been credited with garnering youth support for President Trump during the 2024 Presidential Campaign, before his assassination during a rally at a Utah college.
