Only Fools and Horses enthusiasts are grieving after the announcement on October 2 that Patrick Murray had died.

The 68 year old performer was recognised for portraying Mickey Pearce in the beloved sitcom, from series two onwards.

His last appearance came in the 2003 Christmas special, with the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society confirming news of his death.

They posted: "It is with heartfelt sadness that we report the death of our friend Patrick Murray - Mickey Pearce to so many.
