This weekend will not feel like an early October weekend. It’s actually going to be more of an August-like weekend.

Get your mind set for doing some summer fun or even trying to stay cool.

The precipitation discussion is a short one. There isn’t a storm system to even talk about for the weekend. You don’t have to worry about getting wet. For those of us gardeners and landscape lovers, we better spend some time watering freshly planted trees and shrubs.

Here’s the rain areas forecast just so you can see the storm-free weekend. I will say that one of the better models has a couple of sidewalk-dampening showers around the Mackinaw City area. I’d be surprised if it lightly showered for 15 minutes there Saturday morning.
