Doug Brown is a fountain of clever observations on life, and a perennial road warrior. Born in Scarborough, he came here seven years ago after retirement for the usual reasons of “health, lifestyle and getting out of Toronto.” He was a postman for 25 years.

“I loved the pleasant people I met that I delivered to. The people I worked with were like-minded a good environment, a lot of brotherhood and laughter. There was no pressure, just sorting mail and walking it off.”
