WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 24-year-old Wichita man said he fatally stabbed his grandmother over the Labor Day weekend after she criticized how he did his laundry, according to a newly-released court document.

Isaiah Langkiet is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 64-year-old Elvira Lankiet. Officers responded on the morning of Saturday, August 30 to a cutting call in the 800 block of South Fern, near Kellogg and Seneca. A probable cause affidavit states police approached a man, who identified himself as Isaiah Langkiet, on the back porch and took him into custody.
