If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

That was essentially Jack Curry’s message to Yankees manager Aaron Boone following the Yankees ’ dramatic 4-3 season-saving win in Game 2.

Ben Rice and Jazz Chisholm Jr., who both did not start in the Game 1 loss, started in Game 2 and came up huge in the win.

Curry, the former Yankees beat writer and current YES Network analyst, suggested Boone should keep both guys in the starting lineup for Game 3.

“This lineup was a winning lineup, don’t mess with it,” Curry said on air.

Red Sox starter Connelly Early is left-handed and Boone would normally start the right-handed hitting Paul Goldschmidt at first base over the left-handed hitting Rice.

Boone said Chisholm would start Game 3 but added he hadn’t yet decided on his catcher/first base plans.
