Leh DM Allows Opening Of Shops, Schools Up To Class 8, Public Transport On Oct 3

Leh, Oct 2: In a fresh order, the District Magistrate Leh has permitted the opening of shops and schools up to class 8 and allowed small buses and other passenger vehicles to operate in the district on October 3 between 10 AM and 6 PM.

The order, however, makes it clear that the relaxation will be subject to strict adherence to provisions laid down under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023.
