California is set to spend millions to rectify errors found in a voter guide for Gov. Gavin Newsom ’s (D-CA) upcoming special election on redistricting efforts.

The 2025 Voter Information Guide was mailed to around 8.5 million voters in the Golden State to provide them with data about Proposition 50 . Newsom spearheaded the ballot initiative, which California Democrats hope will help their party pick up five more seats in the House, where the GOP holds a narrow majority.
