The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman covered in blood who told first responders she stabbed a male Wednesday night.

Dispatchers received a 911 call about a woman covered in blood at the Dollar General on Beaverdale Road, the agency said in a release.

When emergency personnel arrived, Requiya Kierra Reynolds told them she stabbed a man on Dawnville Beaverdale Road.

When deputies got to the home, they found Michael Cronan dead on the living room floor with apparent stab wounds.

Detectives with the WCSO, as well as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, are investigating the incident.

Requiya is charged with murder, and is being held without bond.
