Police: Death Of 35-Year-Old In Vicksburg Ruled A Suicide

The Vicksburg Police Department says a man found deceased last month on Washington Street has been identified as 35-year-old Cory Zukatis.

Officers responded around 12:29 p.m. on September 15 to the 4000 block of Washington Street for a death investigation. The man was seen hanging from a tree.

The medical examiner ruled the death a suicide, according to a department news release signed by Capt. Curtis J. Judge.

Officials refute internet rumors regarding Mississippi hanging victims
