The NFL named Colts kicker Spencer Shrader the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for the month of September. Shrader made 13 field goals and successfully converted all 12 of his PATs, scoring a total of 51 points in the month of September.

This marks the first time in his career Shrader has earned Player of the Month honors.

Shrader currently leads the NFL with his 13 made field goals and 51 total made points; he has a 92.9 field goal percentage, missing a 51-yard field goal in Week 3. In Week 4, he connected on a career-long 52-yard field goal.
