SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Notre Dame basketball is taking over Eddy Street Commons on Friday!

It’s all part of a new event called Irish Jam. It’s a full-on festival of hoops and hype!

Notre Dame men’s basketball coach Micah Shrewsberry joined us on WNDU 16 News Now at Noon to tell us all about the celebration. You can learn more by watching the video above!

Irish Jam is taking place on Friday from noon to 8 p.m. It’s free and open to the public, but it’s a first-come, first-served, standing room only event.
