Today, constituency MLA and former Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, with the support of World Punjabi Sabha Canada, distributed folding beds and blankets to 200 flood-affected families in the villages of Lakhuwal near Ramdas, Kot Gurbakhsh, and Sammowal for their rehabilitation.

He stated that Dr. Dalbir Singh Kathuria, Chairman of World Punjabi Canada, has set aside an amount of ₹15 lakh for the rehabilitation of flood victims. Out of this, in the first phase, 1,000 folding beds and 1,000 blankets will be distributed among needy flood-affected families. In the next phase, other essential household items required for rehabilitation will also be donated.
