The “Chicago Med” season 11 premiere revealed the father of Dr. Hannah Asher’s (Jessy Schram) baby.

Season 10 of the medical drama ended on a cliffhanger, with Asher showing up at her longtime friend Dr. Dean Archer’s (Steven Weber) house to tell him about her unexpected pregnancy. The scene left viewers wondering if Archer could be the father, rather than Asher’s ex-boyfriend Dr. Mitchell Ripley (Luke Mitchell).

As it turns out, Asher’s trip to Archer’s house wasn’t a fake-out. Archer is, in fact, the father of her unborn baby . Although Asher and Archer have had a deep, at-times flirty connection for several seasons now, viewers have never seen them act on their feelings.
