Caleb Taylor was just a young pup when he was thrown into the fire as C.M. Russell High football’s starting quarterback as a sophomore.
Now in his third year under center, the Rustler captain is a leader of the pack.
“I think, just in general, his leadership skills are night and day from even a year ago,” CMR head coach A.J. Wilson said. “So, kudos to him for taking on that role and being a leader in the offensive huddle and taking command and understanding (the play call) and where he wants to go with it.”
Taylor and the Rustlers (1-2 Eastern AA, 2-3 overall) host Billings Senior (0-3, 0-5) for homecoming Friday, Oct. 3, at Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m., looking to get back in the win column after consecutive losses.
