The New Orleans Saints are no longer a winning roster and are rebuilding this season, so they could make cornerback Alontae Taylor available on the trade block. According to one source, they believe Taylor is in an odd place as he's in his last year of his contract and there haven't been talks about an extension. Originally selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Tennessee product has been a viable backup for the Saints for most of his tenure in New Orleans. After serving as the insurance policy for veteran Marshon Lattimore and Paulson Adebo for most of his seasons, Taylor finally got a starting role alongside Kool-aid McKinstry after the Saints traded Lattimore and let Adebo hit free agency this past offseason.
