NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man received a time served jail term and a probationary period after he admitted to a methamphetamine trafficking charge, a crime discovered as West Norriton Township police investigated the man for an alleged theft of a robot vacuum from a local Walmart store.

Stephen John Devlin, 46, of the 700 block of Hill Road, was sentenced this week in Montgomery County Court to 382 days already served to 23 months in the county jail on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine in connection with a March 2024 incident.

Devlin received credit for time he spent behind bars from August 2024 to May 2025 while awaiting court action and for four months he spent in an inpatient treatment program, according to court documents.
