HAMILTON — The hunt for the inaugural Class B-C state title in flag football began Thursday morning at Hamilton High.

Three Forks secured the first spot in the championship game, beating Wolf Point in double overtime. The Wolves will face the winner between Hobson-Moore and Jefferson.

Three Forks reached the state semifinal in 2024 in the all-class tournament, falling to Kalispell Glacier 16-0. With the Wolfpack in the Class AA bracket, and the Wolves the western 2-seed, the opportunity to break through into the championship game appeared tangible.

It required extra football, but the Wolves made it happen.
