AUBURN — All systems are full-go for Auburn basketball 's 2025-26 season, which began practices Monday, Sept. 22, the same day of long-time head coach Bruce Pearl 's retirement.

Much transpired that day and in others since. The program promoted Pearl's son, Steven Pearl , from an assistant role to head coach the same day. The coaching change also opened a 30-day transfer portal window for the program's players.
