Quinte small business owners will gather for Small Business Week later this month along with Canada’s 1.1 million small businesses to discuss the challenges facing the sector amid economic uncertainty.

The week runs from October 20 to October 24 and is hosted by Chambers of Commerce in the region.

Organizers said small businesses at home and across the country are backbone of the economy, “employing millions of Canadians and representing more than 98 per cent of all businesses in the country.
