Nicole Kidman is going viral for a quote she said years and years ago.

In 2001, after going through her divorce from Tom Cruise , Nicole made a promo appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman .

As soon as Nicole hit the stage, David Letterman started peppering her with questions and comments about Tom .

Finally, after some back-and-forth, Nicole said the iconic line, “Well, I can wear heels now.” Nicole is said to be 5’11″ and Tom is said to be 5’7″, so this quote is definitely in reference to the height difference.

This quip is starting to make the rounds again as Nicole is now going through another divorce with estranged husband Keith Urban .
