Fifteen freight train cars derailed Thursday in Industry, but no injuries were reported.

The derailment occurred at 7:23 a.m. along Union Pacific tracks near the 17000 block of Arenth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A hazardous materials team was called to the scene as a precaution, but there was no immediate word of anything hazardous being spilled in the derailment.

It was unclear what caused the train cars to derail.
