Attempted murder charges filed against a 19-year-old Romulus man related to the alleged shooting of a 17-year-old and 22-year-old at the Ford Fireworks show in late June in Detroit have been dismissed.

Alphonso Cooper was charged in July after police said Cooper got into an argument with a 17-year-old from Van Buren Township and allegedly pulled out a gun and fired multiple times, hitting the 17-year-old and a 22-year-old woman from Ferndale, who was an unrelated bystander.
