Chilling images show the Manchester synagogue terror attack suspect lying dead on the ground with a blade and suspected "bomb" next to him.
The horror incident, which has been declared an act of terror, took place at the synagogue in Crumpsall, north Manchester , on Thursday morning - also Yom Kippur, the holiest day for Jews. Armed officers descended onto the scene at 9.30am before shooting the suspect dead.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said two people were killed in the car and knife attack before the suspect was shot dead. Several others have been left injured and are in hospital.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson said the two people who died were part of Manchester's Jewish community.
