Person killed in northwest Charlotte double shooting, Medic says

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A person was killed in a northwest Charlotte double shooting Thursday afternoon, according to officials .

The shooting reportedly happened around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, along Eddleman Road near Interstate 85.

Paramedics said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating the case as a homicide, and no arrests or charges have been announced as of this writing.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the deadly shooting.
