Krispy Kreme's orange doughnuts make a nod to Taylor Swift's new album

Krispy Kreme is celebrating "all things 12" with the release of a doughnut assortment that "shines" on Friday, Oct. 3.

It looks like we've got another Swiftie in the house.

Krispy Kreme is seemingly celebrating the Friday, Oct. 3, release of Taylor Swift's new album "The Life of a Showgirl" by making their "Original Glazed" doughnuts "full orange" for the day.

"On 10/3 ONLY, we’re celebrating all things 12!" Krispy Kreme announced Oct. 1 on social media. "Our Original Glazed Doughnuts go full orange — snag them exclusively in the $12 Spotlight Dozen. Same Original Glazed taste, just with a bold new glow."

Some Swifties chimed in on the doughnut chain's social media comments. "I’ve been waiting for this !! Donuts enhance a listening party for sure! ", one user said on Instagram. Another user on TikTok said, "Krispy Kreme is a Swiftie ".

The limited-time offering will be available at Krispy Kreme shops around the country and is subject to product availability.

How to get an orange doughnut at Krispy Kreme

Because Krispy Kreme is "celebrating all things 12" − an apparent nod to "Showgirl" being Swift's 12th album − customers will be able to purchase the themed doughnuts in an assortment of 12.

According to Krispy Kreme, each "Spotlight Dozen" consists of nine "Spotlight Orange Original Glazed" doughnuts and three "Spotlight Swirl" doughnuts.

The "Spotlight Dozen" will be available in shop, at the drive-thru and online. There is a limit of two per order.

"For one day only, grab this eye-popping dozen for just $12, don’t let it slip away!" Krispy Kreme said.

When will Taylor Swift's 'The Life of a Showgirl' drop?

Swift's 12th studio album "The Life of a Showgirl" is expected to drop at midnight ET / 9 p.m. PT on Friday, Oct 3. Max Martin, Shellback and Swift are credited as producers on the album.
