HOUSTON (KIAH) — Affordable housing has been a big issue in Houston in the last five years, and local leaders are working on trying to find solutions to this problem.

Houston City Councilwoman Tiffany Thomas is holding the second-annual Faith and Affordable Housing Summit, which will be on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Builders Center at 6011 West Orem Drive in Houston.

Thomas was interviewed by CW39’s Sharron Melton on Thursday.
