Recent research shows four in ten of those with savings manage to put away some cash each month, with regular savers feeling more responsible and excited about their future.

Two thirds of savers experience a rush from setting money aside – with as little as £30 delivering that buzz. A survey of 2,000 adults revealed 43 per cent of those with savings succeed in putting away cash each month, whilst 16 per cent manage to do so weekly. ‌

Looking back on their achievements, 88 per cent of adults have reached a target they established, leaving them feeling content, empowered and cheerful. Meanwhile, 40 per cent view any sum of money saved , whether large or small, as a victory, with as little as £1-£30 deposited into their savings providing a third with excitement. ‌
