UNC football ’s Jordan Shipp will be honoring Tylee Craft during the Tar Heels’ game against Clemson (Noon, ESPN) at Kenan Stadium.
Shipp, a sophomore wide receiver who normally wears a No. 1 jersey, will be wearing Craft’s No. 13 jersey for UNC’s annual Cancer Awareness game. Shipp also has a tattoo on his arm to honor Craft, which features the No. 13 and “Tylee Strong.”
Craft, 23, died on Oct. 12, 2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer in March 2022, becoming a source of inspiration for the Tar Heels as he stuck around the football program and eventually became a UNC graduate.
