GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two men have been arrested in connection with a 2021 Greensboro double homicide that left 20-year-old North Carolina A&T State University student Kwashawn Jaleek Tyson and 19-year-old Delorion Dashawn Smith dead.
Tyson was enrolled at NC A&T at the time of the shooting, a university spokesperson confirmed.
Trevon Jamal Jennings, 31, was arrested Monday, Sept. 29, in Atlanta on a fugitive warrant by the FBI Fugitive Task Force with assistance from the Atlanta Police Department. He is awaiting extradition on two counts of first-degree murder.
Antonio Marquis Rogers, 34, was arrested Sept. 18 by the Greensboro Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team on similar warrants. Rogers remains in the Guilford County Jail without bond.
