Juno Award-winning Canadian hip-hop icon Choclair is bringing a raw, real-rap celebration packed with deep beats to Welland’s The Bank Art House for one night only.

Known for hits like “Northern Touch” and “Let’s Ride”, Choclair — real name Kareem Blake — was one of Canada’s most successful rappers in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. He was nominated for six Juno Awards and won four.

He’ll bring his unmistakable flow to the downtown performance venue, 22 King St. , on Saturday, Oct. 11, with Dialect Sosa opening the night, followed by Private Name Private Number, who will join Choclair on stage to perform “Feels.” Welland’s DJ K-Flip will keep the energy going throughout the night.

Doors for the all ages show open at 7 p.m. and things get underway at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30.
