AUBURN, Wash. — A man with six active felony warrants across six different counties is now in jail, thanks to a tip from Crime Stoppers.
Auburn Police Department officers arrested a 33-year-old man on Sept. 23. Police said the suspect was wanted on multiple charges, including motor vehicle theft, identity theft, and organized retail theft.
When officers tried to take him into custody, police said that he claimed to have a medical issue in an effort to avoid arrest. Officers stayed with him for several hours until he was medically cleared. The suspect was booked into jail without further incident.
