KENOVA, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Another staple of the season in our area is starting to come together.

About 1,000 pumpkins just dropped off at the Pumpkin House in Kenova.

The house will eventually be decorated by more than 3,000 pumpkins carved by local volunteers.

The Pumpkin House is the centerpiece of C-K AutumnFest, drawing in tens of thousands of visitors every year.

Local farmer Jason Ekers helps grow all these pumpkins.

He says it’s exciting to see all of his hard work pay off.

The Pumpkin House will be on full display starting October 23 on Beech Street in Kenova.
